Product information
Ventoria strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information on products, technical features, availability, photographs and other data published on the website.
Product photographs are provided for information purposes and may differ to a certain extent from the actual appearance of the product due to differences in production series or manufacturer, colour display or subsequent changes to the product.
Ventoria reserves the right to change product information without prior notice.
Sending enquiries
The Ventoria website does not use a conventional online shopping basket and automatic payment system, but a system for sending enquiries.
The user may select one or more products, specify the desired quantities and send a single enquiry to Ventoria.
Sending an enquiry does not constitute the automatic conclusion of a contract of sale, nor does it create an obligation for Ventoria to sell the product under the terms shown on the website.
After receiving an enquiry, Ventoria may send the user an individual quote and information on availability, delivery time, price and other terms.
Quote and conclusion of the contract
A contract of sale is deemed concluded when the customer accepts Ventoria’s quote or when the parties confirm the order in another way in accordance with the agreed terms.
The terms of a specific quote take precedence over the general information published on the website.
Ventoria reserves the right to refuse an individual enquiry or order if the product is not available, if there has been an error in the data or for other justified business reasons.
Prices and payment
Prices shown on the website are stated in euros (EUR) and include VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise. For products marked “Price on request”, the price is set in the quote.
The final price, payment terms, delivery costs and other commercial terms are set out in the quote that Ventoria sends to the customer.
Delivery and deadlines
The delivery method and delivery time are determined individually, depending on the type of product, availability, the customer’s location and other circumstances.
If no delivery time has been specifically agreed, Ventoria will deliver the product to the consumer no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract.
Ventoria will endeavour to meet the agreed deadlines but is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
The risk of accidental loss of or damage to the product passes to the consumer when the consumer or a person designated by the consumer, other than the carrier, takes possession of the product.
Complaints and product defects
Ventoria is liable for material defects in products in accordance with the Civil Obligations Act (Zakon o obveznim odnosima) and consumer protection regulations. If a product has a defect, the customer may, in accordance with the law, demand removal of the defect or replacement of the product, a price reduction or termination of the contract. In addition, the manufacturer’s commercial guarantee applies where one has been issued for the specific product.
We recommend that the customer inspect the product on receipt and report any visible damage incurred in transport immediately. A consumer must notify Ventoria of a defect within two months of the day on which they discovered it, and a business customer without delay. Ventoria is not liable for defects that become apparent after two years have elapsed from the handover of the product.
The customer may submit a complaint (written complaint) by post to Kozlikovo 13, 10450 Kozlikovo or by e-mail to info@ventoria.hr, together with a description of the problem and the purchase details (quote or invoice number). Ventoria will acknowledge receipt of the complaint in writing without delay and reply to it in writing no later than 15 days from the day of receipt.
Consumer’s right of withdrawal from the contract
A consumer who has concluded a distance contract (via an enquiry, e-mail or telephone, without the simultaneous physical presence of the parties) has the right to withdraw from the contract unilaterally within 14 days, without giving any reason. The period begins to run from the day on which the consumer or a person designated by the consumer, other than the carrier, takes possession of the product, and in the case of an order for several products delivered separately – from the day on which the last product is taken into possession.
To exercise this right, the consumer must send Ventoria an unequivocal statement of withdrawal before the period expires, by post to Kozlikovo 13, 10450 Kozlikovo or by e-mail to info@ventoria.hr. The consumer may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not obligatory. The deadline is met if the statement is sent before the period expires.
The consumer must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which the statement of withdrawal was sent. The direct costs of returning the product are borne by the consumer. This applies to unilateral withdrawal from the contract (cancelling the purchase), not to a complaint about a product defect.
Ventoria will refund to the consumer all payments received, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which it receives the statement of withdrawal, using the same means of payment as the consumer used, unless the consumer has expressly agreed otherwise. Ventoria may withhold the refund until it has received the product or until the consumer has provided proof of having sent it, whichever is earlier.
The consumer is liable for the diminished value of the product resulting from handling the product in a way that was not necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
The right of withdrawal does not apply, among other things, to products made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised for the consumer, and to sealed products which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if they have been opened by the consumer after delivery.

The parties will attempt to resolve any disputes amicably and, if this is not possible, the court having subject-matter jurisdiction in the Republic of Croatia is competent to resolve the dispute, unless applicable regulations provide otherwise.
If a dispute with a consumer cannot be resolved by direct agreement, Ventoria agrees to participate in mediation proceedings before the Mediation Centre of the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK, Rooseveltov trg 2, 10000 Zagreb, www.hgk.hr/centar-za-mirenje). The consumer may also contact the State Inspectorate.
